The Royal Players and Young Players are excited to announce their 2026-2027 season as we continue to bring the arts and live theatre to downtown Benton and Central Arkansas.
The Royal Players begin with spooky season as our Royal Haunted House returns! Join us for chills & thrills October 15-31, 2026! Do you want to build a snowman? December 3-13, 2026, the Royal Players will take you to the icy kingdom of Arendelle, where we see a powerful tale of sisterhood and finding the real meaning of true love take form in Frozen The Musical.
In 2027 the Young Players embark on their 25th season- a silver anniversary! TWENTY-FIVE years of building character and confidence while creating memories on stage. Join Young Players Second Stage, in partnership with Stage 13, to pump up the volume and the 80s nostalgia with the big-haired fun of The Wedding Singer January 7-24, 2027.
February 11-21, 2027, Steel Magnolias blooms with wit, resilience, and all the southern charm. Next up March 11-20, 2027, the Young Players will soar in How to Train Your Dragon The Musical Jr., where fire-breathing wonder meets the courage to be different. The Royal magic continues April 22-May 2, 2027, as Finding Neverland invites us to believe in the impossible as we follow the man who gave the world “the boy who wouldn’t grow up”.
June brings a spoonful of sugar as Mary Poppins sweeps on to the Royal stage the 10-20, 2027. It promises to be “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”! Join the Young Players and “the ghost-with-the-most” for their summer show - Beetlejuice, JR. - July 8-18, 2027. This frightfully funny musical is bursting onto the stage with mischievous mayhem and supernatural style.
August 12-22, 2027, rock ’n’ roll fever takes over as the spotlight swings to the high energy of Bye Bye Birdie. Finally, the season concludes with the Young Players performance of a timeless tale of love, sacrifice, and the unyielding fight for freedom, Les Misérables, September 9-19, 2027.
